RCASA Development Associate: As a Development VISTA with RCASA you will develop new fundraising strategies, network with new partners and non-profit professionals, and identify renewable fundraising resources to include large and small donors, special events, and grant funding. You will have the opportunity to identify, plan, and execute 2 new fundraising events. Additionally, you will also work with the grants manager to write proposals and grant applications. You will also track, report, and follow up with various donors through the development of a donor database. You will also communicate regularly with donors to inform them of how their funds are being used, what services are being provided, and thanking them. RCASA Volunteer Coordinator: As a Volunteer Coordinator VISTA with RCASA, you will work to increase our volunteer pool , develop training materials, and provide volunteer training. You will be responsible for volunteer education and retention. You will generate marketing materials, engage in social networking, contribute to agency newsletter, and create a marketing plan. You will also develop a system for tracking and reporting activities, and develop a volunteer manual. You will serve as a community liaison for RCASA to reach out to our community. Activities include attending local events, forums, creating presentations, attending monthly volunteer meetings, meeting with local partnering agencies, researching regional and state-wide agencies for possible collaborations and developing an action plan to begin those collaborations.
