Falling Leaves Bring Activities

The air is crisp and the leaves are beginning to change color. Yes, fall is among us. October is a very busy month for RCASA.  We look forward to seeing you at all of the events we will be attending. Listed below are just a few:

October 6th- Join us at the Massad Family Y located at 211 Butler Rd, Fredericksburg, VA 22405 between 9am-12pm for the 2nd Annual Learn and Serve Community Partnership Fair.

October 8th-  “Let’s Stitch” is a Fredericksburg Area Charitable Event in affiliation with From the Heart Stitchers.  This event will be held at 916 Liberty St, Fredericksburg, VA 22401.  Beginners, intermediate and advanced knitters and crocheters are encouraged to attend this event. Bring your yarn, needles, patterns,  and yourselves and enjoy a day of demos, refreshments, stitching and camaraderie.  All Knitted and Crocheted items will benefit many local groups including: RCASA, RCDV, Micah, Mary Washington Healthcare, Fredericksburg Police Victims Unit, and SPCA. October 15th-We will be at the 22nd Annual Harvest Festival in Bowling Green on Main St. Event will run from 9am-4pm. Come and enjoy a day of food, entertainment, and fun!  We’ll keep a spot open for you at our booth!

OUR MONTHLY FUNDRAISER WILL BE HELD AT CiCi’s PIZZA ON OCTOBER 26TH BETWEEN 4-8PM. Come get your grub on and help out your community in the process!

***REMEMBER that October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month! In honor of that RCASA will be participating in the Red Flag Campaign with UMW and Germanna Community College.***
